We are living in an ultra modern society which is very much advanced socially and technically. The challenges faced by our young generation are much greater than the earlier times. The pressures from various angles force them to choose the easy route to success and happiness. Many derail in the process and come short of God’s presence and purpose.
The very purpose of the Sunday School Ministry is to make all efforts to inculcate the spiritual, ethical and moral values in our children so that they may become victorious in all aspects of life.
Intercessory Prayer
Saturdays at 5:30pm over Zoom
In this world of temptations, it is only the prayer on the knees that is answer to successful Christian life. Like Daniel, we are to come to God on behalf of others in a heartbroken and repentant attitude, recognizing their own unworthiness and with a sense of self-denial. The ultimate aim of this prayer is to see the world through the eyes of the Heavenly Father.
Youth Meetings at 8pm on Fridays
What are our objectives?
• Lead a life of purpose with the help of the counsellor, Holy Spirit
We want every youth to know that God has got a perfect plan in their life. We want to work together to identify the plans God has and achieve his will in their life. We want to open up the space for the Holy Spirit so that as the Spirit leads, youths will take up the call of Jesus in their lives.
• Provide a Place for Fellowship
Most of the times, youths are isolated. While regular prayer meetings and bible classes are important, providing a space for youths to fellowship is often under utilized. Being able to share challenges and receive encouragement from other youths can be a tremendous blessing.
• Foster a love for God and desire to be in His Word
There is perhaps nothing of more lasting significance than giving students a big vision of God and deep love for His Word. Beyond programming, we seek to put students in a position to experience God in His Word for themselves.There is no secret to growth in the Christian life. The most basic starting point is spending time with God in His word, prayer and fellowship with others.
• Cultivate meaningful community
Discipleship happens in the context of relationships. We want students to build relationships with one another and with leaders. The avenue through which this happens in many student ministries is small groups. Within these small groups, students are at different places spiritually and some may not yet know Christ. So we want everyone come together without any judgmental eyes but experience the love of the Heavenly Father in a mighty way.
• Develop student leaders who are disciple-makers
We believe that now is the time for students to lead and now is the time for them to begin making disciples. This includes welcoming our guests, connecting with their peers, leading in spiritual discussion, encouraging one another in sharing the gospel, praying for their friends and loving others. So our aim is to empower youths to live out a life of sacrifice in this busy world.
